
http://www.A3Network.com. Amazing Alto Reed "Solo Performance" "World Exclusive" Alto Reed (born Detroit, Michigan) is an American long-time saxophonist with Bob Seger and the Silver Bullet Band. His most recognizable performances included the soulful introduction to "Turn the Page" and the saxophone solo in "Old Time Rock and Roll". Alto has also done the soundtracks for two of Jeff Daniels films and has performed with many bands and music artists, Ormandy (early mid-Michigan band), Foghat, Grand Funk, Little Feat, Otis Rush, Alan Anthony, Enchantment, Jamie Oldaker, George Terry, Dave Mason, Spencer Davis, Tico Torres, Dan Aykroyd, James Belushi, The Blues Brothers, The Ventures, George Thorogood and most recently in Romania with the super star band, Holograf. Having been to a "Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony" once already with Bob Seger & the Silver Bullet Band in 2004, Alto met and performed with "Rock & Roll's Greatest Guitar Band" The Ventures in 2008 and found himself once again at the Waldorf Astoria when The Ventures invited him to perform with them on one of TV's Greatest Theme Songs, "Hawaii 50", for their induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. Reed and his band The Blues Entourage performed at the 2009 Jamaica Jazz and Blues Festival which is one of the largest Jazz and Blues Festivals in the world. The members of the band are Eric Clapton guitarist and co-writer George Terry, veteran bluesman Steve Thorpe on vocals and guitar, Grammy Award winning keyboardist and producer Ron Taylor, Nathan Thorpe on bass and Alex Petrosky on drums. Currently, Reed and his singer/songwriting partner Steve Dickinson have teamed up with the Ford Motor Company as "Reed & Dickinson Band", and have begun a series of performances in the classic Detroit Style around the globe. The Reed & Dickinson Band has released an album Tonight We Ride, with musicians Jimmy McCarty and Johnny Badanjek (Mitch Ryder Detroit Wheels Fame), Jimmy Bones, Stephanie Eulinberg (Kid Rock), lead guitarist Bobby East (Kid Rock), Roger Noonan, Bernie Palo and Jeff Fawlkes.
